At Vice and Viceland, Lex has played a key role in making many of the series that have helped define the Vice brand. The hard-hitting sports documentary series Vice World of Sports garnered a Producers Guild of America Award for best sports show. Bong Appetite, a first-of-its kind medicinal cooking series, was nominated for a prestigious James Beard Award for culinary entertainment. The critically acclaimed documentary series Under the Influence redefined the talking head rock doc. Lex’s work can be seen across many of Vice’s Digital Channels in series such as Vice Biographies, Noisey Meets, Music World, Vice Sports and many others.

​SOLO, a short film he directed, features eye-popping stunt flying, incredible visual effects, and powerful acting performances. It was a ‘Best Shorts’ award-winner and featured in several film festivals.

Lex has been a Director and showrunner on three television series, including In the Qube, which was based on a pilot he created that leveraged a unique multi-camera shooting and projection system he helped invent. Lex also served as Director and Supervising Producer for the Telly Award-winning technology series Revision3 Remix.

Lex has also made his mark in the world of branding and marketing, directing more than 50 campaigns that earned 11 major industry awards, and editing countless others, specializing in branded entertainment that blurs the lines between content and advertising. Series and campaigns such as Ray-Ban’s The Order of Never Hide, The Movie Twins, and Bacardi Music World have garnered awards and helped redefine the marketplace. His clients have included The Los Angeles Lakers, Ray-Ban, Hyundai, Sears, McDonald’s, Volkswagen, Verizon, xbox, FX, MTV, VH1, HGTV, 20th Century Fox, Sony, Disney, Paramount, and ABC Television.
