In his work as an editor, Lex Sadasivan has consistently delivered critically-acclaimed and award-winning content in all shapes and sizes for his creative partners and clients.

Lex has edited many long-form series for television and streaming, with a special focus on documentary, sports, music, culture and politics. Lex won an Emmy Award for editing the PBS series Artbound, a follow documentary series that explores the lives of great modern artists.The hard-hitting sports documentary series VICE World of Sports garnered a Producers Guild of America Award for best sports show. Bong Appetite, a first-of-its kind medicinal cooking series, won a prestigious James Beard Award for culinary entertainment. Lex edited the premiere episode of the highly acclaimed docuseries Noted, directed by Alicia Keys and produced by Jada Picket Smith and Will Smith, chronicling Alicia Keys’ journey revealing many never-before-shared details of her personal life. He also edited many acclaimed VICE series: Under the Influence redefined the talking head rock doc; The Deep End, a groundbreaking documentary series  followed surprising characters deep into the sub-cultures they represent; and The Search for Q exposed how fringe conspiracy theories have infiltrated our mainstream political landscape.

Lex has repeatedly broken the internet with digital content that has gone viral and become part of the zeitgeist. The Jared Goff Prank Video by Redbull has garnered a whopping 32 million views on YouTube alone. At Vice, Lex edited multiple digital series such as VICE Auto Biographies, Noisey Raps, VICE news, and Music World, which helped define the Vice brand and shaped our culture. The viral hit micro doc series The Order of Never Hide by Ray-Ban gave viewers a taste of the lives of the best indie artists. Lex’s work for Paramount+ on the Star Trek franchise has been a Trekkie’s delight.

Lex began his career editing movie trailers for major studios, including Paramount, Disney, Universal and Sony. He went on to edit promos and short-form content for networks such as FX, ABC, CBS, HGTV and MTV. Lex has also edited commercials for major brands including a spot for Robinhood which aired during the Super Bowl, the Everything is a Road campaign for Harley Davidson directed by Jason Momoa, and the hilarious Helping Parents Rock campaign for Hyundai starring Jack Black and Kiss. His work in short-form content has earned him multiple awards, including Promax, Telly, Golden Trailer and Key Art awards.

Lex has also made an impact as a director. He has been a director and showrunner on three television series, including In the Qube, which was based on a pilot he created that leveraged a unique multi-camera shooting and projection system he helped invent. Lex also served as director and supervising producer for the Telly Award-winning technology series Revision3 Remix.

SOLO, a short film he directed, features eye-popping stunt flying, incredible visual effects, and powerful acting performances. It was a ‘Best Shorts’ award-winner and featured in several film festivals.

Lex has also directed more than 50 short-form content campaigns that have earned 11 major industry awards.
